Are there any natural remedies for crickets inside the house? I would like to find some nontoxic options to get rid of them and spiders.

If crickets are a problem, fill a plastic baby powder container with borax and sprinkle it in any cracks and along the baseboards wherever you’ve seen crickets. Caution: Use borax only in areas that are out of reach of children and pets. To discourage spiders, spray rubbing alcohol on windowsills or leave perfumed soap chips scattered about. You can also put cedar chips in the toes of old panty hose and hang them in areas where spiders spin their webs.
