Is there any special substance that will make a bathtub look new again? I have tried every kind of cleanser available but have had no luck.
Answer
Bleach might be your answer, but it takes time to work. Lay several layers of paper towels soaked with bleach along the bottom and sides of your tub. Leave them in place for about an hour, then remove them and rinse the tub. Repeat the process if necessary. If it is an old painted bathtub, sandblasting by a professional is the best way to clean it — but not in the house.
