What are the names of the rivers in the world that flow south to north?
Answer
We don’t know the names of all the world’s rivers that flow north, but the major ones are the Ob, Yenisey, and Lena in Asia; the Nile in Africa; the Rhine in Europe; the Amazon in South America; and the Mackenzie and Yukon in Canada. Some of the north-flowing U.S. rivers are the St. Johns in Florida, the Willamette in Oregon, the Fox river in Wisconsin and the Monongahela, originating in West Virginia and winding north to Pennsylvania.
