If you love sweet potatoes, you’ll love these Sweet Potato Biscuits. These soft, fluffy biscuits have more flavor than your everyday biscuit, while packing the nutritional powerhouse of the incredible sweet potato

Ingredients
1 cup flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
3 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup milk
Instructions
  1. Sift dry ingredients together. 
  2. Add mashed sweet potatoes, and mix well. 
  3. Cut in shortening and gradually add enough milk to make a soft dough. 
  4. Roll dough out lightly on a floured surface to 1/3-inch thickness. 
  5. Cut with a biscuit cutter. 
  6. Place in a greased pan and bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
