Andy Wilcox is a freelance writer, flower farmer, and master gardener with over 25 years of experience in gardening, horticulture, and forestry. He is the co-owner of Stone’s Throw Flowers, a business that provides cut flower arrangements to retail and wholesale customers. Andy is also a passionate forester, specializing in small-acreage landowners, and an active member of the Farmer Veteran Coalition of Wisconsin.
His expertise spans soil health, small producers, forestry, and sustainable practices, with a particular focus on educating others through writing and public speaking. Andy has taught at the college level and continues to lead outreach programs on a variety of topics related to horticulture and conservation.
