Hi Debra,

Once the roots are harvested from ashwagandha, what remains can not be replanted. Depending on your location and length of growing season, you may be able to harvest viable seeds from the plant that can then be planted the following year. If you do not have a long enough growing season to produce good seeds, you should be able to find a seed company that you can purchase them from.
