Hi, Jdiddla: Daffodils are one of the most robust plants out there, so they will be fine. You could divide your daffs now, but usually it’s best to wait until after they are spent. To fill in, there are any number of flowers that would work well in your Zone 5b/6a, but look for ones whose blooms will arrive just as the daffs are fading … for example, daylilies and poppies.
