Dryer won't work during power outage though. Can heat bricks wrapped in foil (or wrap in thick cloth or towel after heating) on wood stove or outdoor grill, will be dangerously hot so wrap in thick cloth or use oven mitts to handle, then place under the covers to pre-warm the bed, remove the bricks, and crawl into warm bed.
