Thanks for these interesting ways to dye Easter eggs naturally. As a kid (way back when) we also used to dye them using onion skins, but wrapped a raw egg in onion skin using string to hold it in place and then boiled the egg. This would make the color of the egg more 'swirly' and patterned like an onion skin instead of an even or solid color.
